The Shuman family lost their home and everything in it to a devastating fire. They and their two dogs were uprooted from the beautiful woods and back roads of Perry county and placed in the hustle and bustle of Harrisburg, by their insurance company. Thanks to the efforts of E.N.A.C.T – Emergency Non-Profit Assisting Communities Together and their gracious donations we were able to collect over 1,000 dollars and enough clothes to refill their empty closets.
The Shumans were extremely grateful for the donations when I met with them in New Bloomfield on March 1st 2019 to hand over the check and a nice little letter from our members.
“God bless you all for everything beautiful you have done for strangers.” Matt Shuman stated when I gave him the check.
