Be Prepared


Being prepared is phase one of Emergency Management. Individuals and families must make preparations for potential dangers and threats, so too, disaster workers prepare by participating in training classes. Courses are designed with adult learners in mind that emphasizes group interaction and cooperative learning.

Training should include classes in:

  • Incident Management
  • Food, Water, Shelter
  • Emotional and Spiritual Care
  • Basic First Aid and CPR training.
